Banda inductora de Grietas Kryton

Kryton Crack Inducing Waterstop is specially designed to produce a waterproof control joint by inducing a crack. Used in conjunction with Krystol Waterstop Grout as part of the Krystol Joint Waterproofing System, Kryton Crack Inducing Waterstop is resistant to chemical contaminants and is perfect for blind wall applications where access is limited. It is placed in a predetermined location to isolate cracks in a controlled area and eliminate water ingress through uncontrolled cracks during concrete shrinkage.

How It Works

The Kryton Crack Inducing Waterstop is attached to the concrete formwork or support wall. A gutter is measured and formed directly to the opposite side of the Inductor band. After the concrete is poured, a controlled crack will develop, induced by the Inductor band, up to the previously formed gutter. Now we proceed to install the mortar “Krystol Waterstop Grout” inside the gutter to add greater protection. [/ more_toggle]
